The brief
A 3BHK residence in Inderpuri that had been lived in long enough to need a complete refresh — new layouts, updated finishes, and reworked services, without touching the shell of the building.
The challenge
- Working within the existing envelope. Load-bearing walls, plumbing risers, and electrical shafts had to stay — the new design worked around them.
- Discipline on scope. A ₹24 lakh renovation demands clear priorities — where to spend on custom joinery and where to hold to standard specification.
- Sequencing demolition and finishing. Trades staged so wet work, joinery, and finishing didn't collide on a compact site.
